School-based emotional support, peer-listener training and stress-relief workshops — building cultures where asking for help is normalised.
Guided by our 36th-anniversary theme — “Boundless Green · Kindness in Common”. An all-volunteer Lions club, rooted in Hong Kong for 36 years, organising neighbourhood-level mental wellness across four pillars: students, elders, caregivers and SEN families.
Our work is organised around four neighbourhood-level pillars of mental wellness.

Community-centre visits, cognitive-stimulation groups and carer-information talks — early intervention for loneliness and dementia.
Mutual-aid groups, respite activities and emergency helpline — for the people who hold others up.
Family support network for SEN children, parent learning circles and referral platforms across schools and NGOs.
On 2027-02-27, Silverstrand Bay Lions will coordinate 3,600 people at the Central Harbourfront for AED-awareness training — a Guinness World Record attempt. 3,600 is not a number; it is Hong Kong's capacity, family by family, school by school, agency by agency, to save a life on the spot.

From community footbaths to a world record — mainstream media keeps covering our service.
TVB News covered our community footbath service at Buddhist Chi King Primary School — the 2024-09-28 'Foot Rhythm Warms Elders' annual service with 48+ volunteers.
Vice-President Dr. Ng Mo-tak (chiropractor) told TVB News: “It's a simple motion — warm water carries blood from the feet back to the heart. If a younger family member can bathe an elder's feet, that elder feels truly cared for.”
Together with community groups and schools, we gathered the most participants synchronously completing the footbath-relief flow, bringing mental-wellness intervention into everyday life.
Wong Tai Sin Temple feature on our 2023–2024 “Care-for-Community” partnership: Silverstrand Bay Lions delivers “Health Begins at Our Feet” footbaths, culminating in the 2024-09-28 SDG world record.
Silverstrand Bay Lions is a non-profit volunteer organisation. Every donation funds our four service pillars, volunteer training and event materials. We collect no registration fees and take no commissions — we avoid commercial payment gateways so fees never eat the gift.
